Ricercatrice PhD in Linguistica
Laura Baranzini received her PhD in Italian Linguistics from the University of Geneva in 2010. She worked as a post-doc researcher at the University of Neuchâtel, at the University of Basel and at the University of Turin as SNF (Swiss National Science Foundation) advanced researcher. She is currently a permanent researcher at OLSI (Osservatorio linguistico della Svizzera italiana) and a lecturer at USI (Università della Svizzera italiana). Her primary areas of research are the sociolinguistics of Italian, TAM-E domain and semantics-pragmatics of Italian temporal expressions in general, contrastive French-Italian linguistics and pragmatics of implicit communication.
